Google Chrome is Google's very own web browser. The browser is mainly open source and it is based on the chromium project. Google Chrome is known for its excellent JavaScript rendering and speed. Google Chrome is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Chrome is also available for mobile on Android. Google Chrome is very easy to install. You can easily import bookmarks from other browsers to make your transition easier. Then, you can connect your Google account for easy back-up of your Chrome data. You can then check out the Chrome Web Store, where you can pick up great themes, extensions, and apps for Chrome. As you can see, Chrome has many features and you can use it quite a bit. Chrome has a very easy to use design with tabs at the top, followed by the omnibox and then an optional bookmarks bar. The omnibox is extremely nice because it is a URL bar and search bar in one, making it look really nice. You can easily bookmark any page by hitting the star in the omnibox. The settings are easily accessible from a Wrench icon and you can control other stuff from their as well. Google Chrome also brings to you, Google Cloud Print. Google Cloud Print allows you to share printers and print over the air without the need for additional drivers. Developing Apps and extensions for Google Chrome is also quite easy.
Pros:
- extremely fast
- support for Web Standards (HTML5)
- light-weight look, design and feel
- Chrome Web Store
- built-in Adobe Flash
